COUNTY OF KENOSHA
Challenge
The Kenosha County building control system needed to have the capacity to spread across eleven buildings including the Public Safety Building, Courthouse, Molinaro, Administration Building, Job Center, Brookside Health Center, County Center, Kemper Building, Pre-Trial Building, County Parking Structure, and the Detention Center. The building control system also needs to be able to integrate with major building systems such as HVAC control, security, and video surveillance.
Solution
Kain Energy utilized Schneider Electric I/Net Seven Building Integration Software. During this project, Kain Energy also managed the replacement of the card access system at all county buildings.
As a result of the integration project, the I/Net Seven software allowed control of the following systems (list not inclusive):

Kain Energy integrated multiple building systems to allow for a lower-cost solution that standalone competitors. I/Net Seven simplified building operations with one software package and customized graphics. This integration allowed the County to conserve energy, reduce operating costs, and realize a faster return on investment.
